How to Place an Order
Before submitting your inquiry, please review our available burial vessels at: littlewaycaskets.com/burial-vessels.
When you are ready, you can email Elizabeth directly at elizabeth@littlewaycaskets.com, fill out the form at the bottom of this page, or call Elizabeth at 845-750-5449 to place your order over the phone. If ordering by phone, please have all of the below mentioned information ready. To help us make this process as easeful and simple as possible, please include the following details in your email or form:
Chosen Burial Vessel
Specify whether you are ordering a casket, burial tray, shroud, or a combination.
Please Note: Shrouds are often paired with burial trays and caskets, depending on individual preference.
Timing & Order Type
Required Completion Date: The exact or estimated date you need the burial vessel ready.
Order Type: Indicate whether your order is for Immediate Need (burial is within 2 weeks) or Pre-Order (requires a minimum 3-week lead time).
Note on Availability: I do my best to keep premade vessels in stock for immediate needs, but availability depends on my current inventory and your specific measurements. While I completely understand that pre-ordering is not always possible, planning ahead as part of advance care planning ensures your wishes are honored, and can bring peace of mind to you and your family.
Sizing Measurements
Precise measurements are critical for a proper fit, as burial vessels are custom built. Even a two-inch difference matters. Please avoid rough estimates to ensure your burial vessel is truly appropriate for you and your unique burial needs.
Height: Overall height (from a recent healthcare visit, or measured at the time of inquiry).
Shoulder and Hip Width: Distance across the widest point of the shoulders and hips, from edge to edge.
Torso Depth: Thickest part of your torso from back to front while standing tall.
Customization Requests
Personal preferences for natural materials and colors utilized within the making of your burial vessel.
Note on Customization: Customization is largely possible for pre-orders within our material limits, and offered for immediate needs only when our current inventory allows. Please be aware that because we work with 100% natural materials rather than industrially and chemically standardized materials, willow, wood, and botanically dyed fabrics will always feature organic color variations.
Delivery or Pickup Method
Local Pickup: free from Stone Ridge, NY.
Local Delivery: $200 flat fee for any distance under 150 miles from Stone Ridge, NY.
Long-Distance: Delivery not available for locations exceeding 150 miles from Stone Ridge, NY. Please note that shipping is not available.
